W. David "Dave" Johnson P.E., P.L.S.
President
In 1991 Mr. Johnson began presiding over the civil engineering firm Engineering Resource Associates and then in 2001 he pioneered Dave Johnson & Associates. With strong entrepreneurial skills and 30 years of civil engineering and land surveying project management experience, his leadership exudes competency and vision. He has remained professionally involved in the community as well. Most recently this has taken the form of his reappointment to the Stormwater Management Planning Committee of DuPage County, Illinois after a three year term beginning in 2005.
Dave Johnson earned a BS Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana and is a registered professional Land Surveyor in Illinois and Indiana.
Donald Triplett
Senior Design Engineer
Mr. Triplett specializes in architectural design and layout; bridge, water main and storm/sanitary sewer inspection; structural design; trade show expositions; and civil engineering design and layout. With over 35 years of work in the engineering and architectural fields, Donald brings skill and understanding to the DJA team. Such a wide breadth of experience and knowledge informs his work on all aspects of DJA’s projects.
Sigmund Gruen, P.E.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Gruen is a registered professional engineer in Illinois and Wisconsin. His specialties lie in structural design; sanitary, storm, water and road design; hydrological modeling; land surveying and other civil engineering areas. Sigmund’s 25 years of civil engineering and land surveying experience make him a key resource on DJA’s team. He is currently pursuing his professional surveyor licensure.
